Aluminium lets us build windows with far slimmer sightlines than uPVC, which means larger panes and a cleaner, more contemporary look. The frames are thermally broken to stop cold bridging, and the grey powder-coated finish is colour-stable and won't need repainting. If you're extending, renovating a period property with a modern rear elevation, or simply want the sharpest possible frame, aluminium is the material to look at.

What colour are your aluminium windows?
Our aluminium windows come in anthracite grey as standard, powder-coated for a hard-wearing, colour-stable finish. Ask about other colours on your free home visit.
Are aluminium windows less energy efficient than uPVC?
Not with modern frames. Ours are thermally broken, with an insulating barrier that separates the inner and outer aluminium, so the frame doesn't conduct cold into the room. Paired with our double or triple glazing, they meet the same A-rated standard as our uPVC range.
How do aluminium windows compare on price?
Aluminium sits above uPVC on price. You're paying for slimmer frames, larger glass, and a finish that lasts. We'll quote both if you'd like to compare on your survey.
Do aluminium windows need much maintenance?
Very little. Wipe the frames with warm soapy water a couple of times a year and check the seals. The powder-coated finish won't fade, flake or need repainting.
Can I match aluminium windows to my bifold or patio doors?
Yes. We install aluminium bifold, French and sliding doors in the same grey finish, so windows and doors can be specified together for a consistent look across the whole elevation.
